Welcome to YOMA, where we honour that motherhood is a journey worth celebrating every step of the way. Where the story of motherhood weaves its precious threads as a place of nourishment and deep wisdom.

Yoma is a nest for mothers — a space where softness, ritual, and craft meet.

We create clothing that honours every chapter of motherhood — not only pregnancy or breastfeeding, but the lifelong transformation that begins the moment a woman becomes a mother.

Our pieces are made to nurture both body and spirit. Each one is crafted from natural fibres and dyes, loomed and printed by hand in India. Every thread carries the rhythm of human hands, the quiet luxury of time, and the beauty of imperfection that only true craft can hold.

To wear Yoma is to feel the intimacy of something made slowly as a holistic dialogue between skin, fabric, and tradition. As the carers for the next generation, we want to offer this deep sense of care to mothers, while tending to the earth by contributing to keeping these ancient processes alive.

More than garments, we offer companionship — a moment of calm, a soft embrace, and a reminder that motherhood deserves to be celebrated.

PROCESS

We are proud to support ancient artisan techniques such as handloom weaving and block printing—crafts that carry generations of knowledge. Our garments are made with time and care  in India, and we respect and work in close collaboration with local families who keep these traditions alive.

Each garment is crafted in small batches using 100% cotton, organic handloom fabrics and natural dyes.

Yoma  founders return to India annually to design collections hand in hand with the tailors, ensuring quality, fit and a deep connection to the process.

STORY OF YOMA

Yoma was founded by Eva and Olaya, two friends who met in London and shared a love for  clothing that tells a story — pieces that speak through texture, colour, and soul. When we became mothers, we found little that reflected the depth and creativity of that experience. And so Yoma grew from that space: to honour mothers with clothing that feels as real and alive as they are.

Our work honors the slow rhythm of  the crafting process, from seed, to fibre to fabric, to wears.  Each collection is made through small batches, and in close collaboration with families in India, relationships that are nurtured with respect and care, through yearly visits and frequent dialogue.

Each piece that is birthed as part of our YOMA collection is an honouring of the caring hands that pass down their stories through generations, hands that keep this ancient knowledge alive. Hands that teach us about love, inviting mothers to rediscover the value of what is real, tactile, and lasting.

To be a mother is to flow like the river, stroking each moment with equal presence and surrender. To be the dance of ever-changing currents, to follow the pathway right back to the source of all beginnings .
